The Canadian Association of Medical Oncologists, a national specialty society of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, will contribute to cancer control, through research, education, and clinical practice in prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, supportive care, palliative care and rehabilitation.

The Association is committed to achieving and maintaining, among its members, excellence in clinical and scholarly activity, within a culture of compassion and respect for human dignity.

Dual membership with ESMO
The Canada Association of Medical Oncologists has signed a membership agreement with the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).  CAMO is the first non-European society with whom they have an agreement!
As of November 14, 2016, all members of the CAMO who are eligible for ESMO Membership at the 175 Euro fee, will benefit from a discount of 45 Euros i.e. annual membership will be 130 Euro per year.
Another great benefit is that ESMO members registering at the early registration fee (i.e. before June 7 2017) pay 380€ rather than 740€ to attend the congress!
In addition, for young oncologists (i.e. under 40 and still enrolled in a training program) have membership at 25€ and can register for ESMO Congress for the price of 60€ – this price is static i.e. from early registration through to onsite.
